Pacific Petroleum Ca, Inc. We are a locally owned and operated company with roots in the oil and gas industry and have expanded our services to support our growing clientele. PPC consists of a variety of trucking, heavy equipment, pipeline repair and fabricating, general construction, rental equipment and specialty services. This diverseness gives us the flexibility to keep a robust work force and opportunity to further grow. Job Summary Operate a variety of equipment that includes backhoe, excavator and front end loader. Job sites consist of different locations and require flexibility to work out of town. Duties and Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected Operate the equipment manually and also through the use of electronic or technical method of operation Ensure and manage the machines or equipment in safe and secure way Perform daily safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment Promote, execute and adhere to the company safety program, and encourage all employees, to adopt safety as a culture Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation Perform other duties, as when assigned Qualifications and Experience At least 5 years of heavy equipment experience Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English Experience using power tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record Good communication skills Ability to work as a team
