Our fleet of reliable tow trucks and skilled operators are always ready to assist, ensuring prompt and professional roadside assistance around the clock. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and responsible Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver - Class C to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate a Class C tow truck to safely tow, recover, and transport vehicles while providing excellent customer service. Your mechanical knowledge, driving skills, and attention to safety will be essential in delivering efficient roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. Duties Safely operate a Class C tow truck to perform vehicle towing, recovery, and transportation tasks. Secure vehicles onto the flatbed or tow truck using proper cargo securement protocols. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics as needed. Assist customers with vehicle issues, providing clear communication and professional customer service. Follow all safety procedures for vehicle loading, unloading, and cargo securement to prevent accidents or damage. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, incidents, and vehicle details. Perform routine inspections of the tow truck to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Requirements Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial truck driving experience preferred. Proven experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, or mechanical troubleshooting. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques. Familiarity with flatbed towing equipment, manual transmissions, and minor mechanical repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally. Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment is a plus. Excellent driving skills with experience in vehicle recovery towing and car towing operations.
