Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate construction projects, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality work. Your expertise will help drive project success from site preparation through completion, contributing to the development of infrastructure and commercial properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence. Duties Operate heavy construction machinery including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and dump trucks to perform tasks such as grading, excavation, material handling, and site clearing. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating machinery and handling materials. Transport construction materials using various trucks such as front loader trucks, water trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Assist with site setup by preparing the ground, leveling surfaces, and managing material placement using cranes and other lifting equipment. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines and safety standards. Skills Extensive experience operating construction machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and material handling equipment. Strong Knowledge in reading grading plans and setting up and reading a laser Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and routine equipment maintenance procedures. Ability to perform basic repairs using hand tools and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Proven experience in construction site operations with a focus on safety regulations and occupational safety standards. Excellent understanding of equipment safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Join us in building the future!
