Your role is crucial in ensuring timely and safe delivery of equipment to job sites while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate bobtails and/or super dump trucks and tow trailers in a safe and efficient manner. Transport materials to and from construction sites or other locations. Load and unload various construction equipment and materials using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, trailer, and load. Ensure the truck and trailer are properly loaded and secured. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations. Report any vehicle or trailer issues or maintenance needs promptly. Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A License with a clean record. Proven experience as a dump truck driver, preferably with super dump trucks and towing trailers. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Ability to perform basic vehicle and trailer inspections. Proficiency in operation of various construction equipment loading/unloading onto trailer. Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others. Physical ability to handle heavy materials and equipment.
Experience:
Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Required)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with GPS and other navigation tools. Previous experience in the construction or mining industry.
License/Certification:
CDL A (Required)
