- Vision Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate and maintain heavy equipment Perform equipment pre and post work inspections Understand plan grades as required Distinguish between material types and moisture content of various soil types Maintain a clean cab Attend and participate in daily and or weekly safety meeting Perform construction related work as required, use hand tools as required Consistent Attendance Complete paperwork accurately Qualifications Minimum 18 Years of Age Ability to pass and maintain pre-employment and drug screenings Ability to pass work history verification Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Positive & Safe Work History Reliable means of transportation to and from projects Requires full range of body motion including handling and operating levers or controls Sufficient hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and use of foot controls and pedals to operate machinery Requires good or corrected vision and hearing within normal range Able to withstand bumping and shaking of machine throughout shift Ability to follow directions Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines Ability to communicate Working Conditions Various outside environments being subjected to weather changes, noise, vibrations, and atmospheric conditions Experience Preference for individuals with experience in operating heavy equipment.
