Job Description
We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator proficient in the safe and efficient use of heavy equipment on residential sites. The successful candidate must have mechanical knowledge and at least 3 years of recent experience operating excavators and loaders for residential construction. Critical knowledge includes safe and efficient operation of 8-20 ton excavators and loaders on building lots up to 12,000 square feet and sloping sites Efficient and correct operation of hydraulic hammers; Competent with rotary laser and grade stick to set precise elevations Fine site grading and creating pads Recent experience placing stone and creating boulder walls Read and adhere to grade stakes Fluent in English, bi-lingual in Spanish preferred Available to work M-F weekdays This is a temporary independent contractor position where the contractor provides their own benefits and insurance. Providing a copy of a valid driver's license, signing an independent contractor agreement, and W9 will be required.
