Job Description
We are working with a large, well-established company in Norwalk, CT who is looking to hire multiple Heavy Equipment Operators for 1st and 2nd shift. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay of $25-$30 per hour , excellent benefits, and long-term career potential. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery in a busy industrial/recycling environment. Equipment may include front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, forklifts, and other heavy equipment . Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment in accordance with company safety standards and procedures. Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational. Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, forklifts, and other machinery. Monitor materials and identify unacceptable or prohibited materials. Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or repair needs. Clean tracks, wheels, and equipment as needed. Perform minor routine equipment service and maintenance. Qualifications 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred. Experience operating loaders, excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, or similar equipment. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to follow established procedures and safety policies.
