The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment and be able to work safely and efficiently on active job sites. No specific certifications are required. We are looking for an operator who is safe, proficient, dependable, and confident operating heavy equipment in a variety of site conditions. Equipment Operated Bobcat Skid Steer Volvo 235 Excavator Cat 962 Loader Volvo 110 Loader Volvo 250 Excavator Job Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate heavy construction equipment Perform excavation, loading, grading, material handling, and related site work Conduct routine equipment inspections before and during operation Identify and report equipment problems or maintenance concerns Follow job-site plans, instructions, and safety procedures Maintain safe distances from workers, vehicles, utilities, and other equipment Assist with general site work as needed Keep equipment clean and properly maintained Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment Ability to safely operate one or more of the listed machines Strong understanding of equipment safety and job-site procedures Ability to perform routine equipment inspections Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must prioritize safety at all times Qualifications Experience with excavators, loaders, skid steers, or similar heavy equipment Construction, excavation, site development, or related industry experience preferred Strong equipment-control skills and attention to detail Ability to work productively while maintaining safe operating practices Good communication and teamwork skills No specific equipment certifications are required; demonstrated skill and safe operation are the priority
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
