Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties Operate construction machinery including excavators, loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks with precision and safety awareness. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, including hydraulic systems, mechanical components, and hand tools, to ensure optimal performance. Handle materials and assist with site preparation using material-handling equipment such as front loaders and forklifts. Follow all safety procedures, including using personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Coordinate with team members and supervisors to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to occupational safety regulations. Conduct minor repairs and troubleshooting on construction machinery, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. Assist with concrete mixing operations and other site-specific tasks requiring specialized equipment operation or mechanical knowledge. Experience Proven construction site experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving and tanker operation preferred Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulics, equipment maintenance, and construction machinery safety procedures Familiarity with construction experience involving concrete mixers, hand tools, and material handling equipment Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance tasks in accordance with occupational safety regulations Prior experience working on construction sites or industrial environments where heavy equipment operation is essential Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting issues related to hydraulics or mechanical systems on heavy machinery Join us in delivering exceptional construction projects by leveraging your heavy equipment operation expertise!
