Responsibilities Must have a valid Florida Driver's License and a good Driving Record. Must have experience. (Loaders, Dozers, Backhoe, Rollers, etc..) Salary is dependent on experience. Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Safely maneuver dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials across construction sites. Use mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist with concrete mixing operations and support other construction activities such as site preparation and material placement. Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage efficiently and meet project deadlines. Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation, inspections, and maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar equipment. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety procedures and operational standards. Mechanical knowledge related to routine maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely. Knowledge of construction materials including concrete mixers and farm machinery is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
