Excavator Operator Location:
Port Richey, FL Pay:
$35.00 per hour Job type: Full-time Job description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Port Richey, FL. The ideal candidate will operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while completing excavation and site-preparation work. Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely Perform digging, trenching, grading, and site preparation Follow all company, OSHA, and job-site safety rules Complete daily equipment inspections before operation Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain safe distances from workers, utilities, and surrounding structures Report hazards, incidents, and equipment problems promptly Perform basic equipment maintenance as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors Qualifications Previous excavator or heavy-equipment operating experience Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices Ability to follow instructions and job-site procedures Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to climb, bend, lift, and remain active throughout the workday Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Valid driver's license preferred OSHA certification is a plus CPR/First Aid or other safety training is a plus Benefits and additional details Full-time position $35.00 per hour Schedule and benefits to be discussed during the hiring process How to apply Please submit your resume and a brief summary of your excavator operating experience.
