This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of sustainable waste management while working with a dedicated team committed to environmental stewardship and operational excellence. Duties Handle recyclable metals and materials with precision, adhering to environmental regulations and safety protocols. Manage material handling tasks in outdoor settings such as landfills or recycling yards, ensuring proper sorting and disposal of recyclable and hazardous materials. Follow strict safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents during heavy equipment operation and material handling. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing regular cleaning tasks to uphold sanitation standards. Skills Scrap Yard experience preferred. Knowledge of recyclable materials handling. Cashier experience preferred. Customer service preferred. Commitment to safety protocol adherence, including PPE use and hazard awareness during all tasks.
