Locally owned and operated for over 70 years, we offer competitive pay, strong benefits, and long-term growth opportunities. Our projects include site development, underground utilities, roadway construction, and public infrastructure work throughout the Tampa Bay area. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a CDL Heavy Transport Operator to support our team in the Brandon/Riverview area. Position Summary This role supports by hauling heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class A CDL a current DOT medical card have experience transporting equipment, and be willing to work in a fast-paced field environment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport and move heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, rollers, brooms, to and from job sites.
- Load and unload equipment efficiently and securely.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues.
- Coordinate equipment movement to support daily operations.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday as required. Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience hauling heavy equipment preferred.
- Ability to safely load and unload construction equipment.
- Able to perform required duties and securing loads in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of basic construction equipment, and safety procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed, including Saturdays.
