In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating overhead cranes to move, lift, and position materials across construction sites, warehouses, or manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure smooth workflows, uphold safety standards, and contribute to the successful completion of large-scale projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment skills in a fast-paced environment where safety and precision are paramount. Duties Operate overhead cranes with precision to lift, move, and position heavy materials safely across job sites or warehouse floors Conduct routine inspections of crane equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify maintenance needs Rig loads securely using appropriate rigging techniques to prevent accidents or damage during lifting operations Coordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences and ensure smooth workflow continuity Assist with materials handling tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, shipping & receiving operations, and warehouse organization Maintain accurate logs of crane usage, inspections, and materials moved for safety compliance and operational records Follow all safety protocols, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards Experience Proven experience operating overhead cranes in construction sites, warehouses, or industrial settings Strong mechanical knowledge of including cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, backhoes, and excavators Hands-on experience with rigging techniques for lifting heavy loads securely Familiarity with materials handling procedures in shipping & receiving environments Prior work experience on construction sites or with heavy machinery such as forklifts, excavators, or warehouse equipment is highly desirable Valid certifications for crane operation are preferred; additional certifications in rigging or material handling are a plus Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail Join us in delivering excellence through skilled crane operation!
