Light Duty Tow Truck Operator (Experienced)
Pay:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available:
6AM-6PM, 8AM-8PM, 12PM-12AM Quarterly Performance Bonuses Offered

Experienced Light Duty Tow Truck Operators with at least 3 years of verifiable experience. We are seeking skilled, reliable, and professional tow truck operators to join our team. If you have strong rollback/flatbed experience, accident recovery experience, and a passion for helping customers in critical moments, we want to hear from you. About the Role As a Light Duty Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safe, efficient towing and recovery of vehicles, including wrecked and disabled units. You will work closely with dispatch, interact professionally with customers, and maintain high safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a light-duty rollback/flatbed tow truck for towing, transport, and accident recovery Provide courteous, professional service to customers in stressful situations Work in close communication with Dispatch throughout each shift Complete daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues immediately Follow all safety guidelines, company protocols, and state traffic laws Accurately document calls, activities, and hours Utilize GPS and towing software/mobile apps (experience with TowBook or similar preferred) Perform additional duties as needed to support operations Requirements Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience operating a light-duty or flatbed tow truck Accident recovery experience and experience with wrecked vehicles strongly preferred Valid driver's license appropriate for towing combinations Clean, professional communication skills Strong customer service ability and calm demeanor under pressure Basic mechanical ability and tool usage Ability to lift 50 lbs+, climb, bend, crawl, and work in all weather conditions Must pass: Drug screening MVR check Background check Driving Standards Applicants must have: No reckless driving, DUI, or DWI within the last 5 years No license suspensions or revocations for moving violations in the past 5 years No serious traffic violations in the past 12 months No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the past 5 years Why Work With Us?
