In this energetic position, you will operate a variety of construction machinery with precision and safety, ensuring efficient project progress. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on every job site. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, dump trucks and skid steers to move materials and prepare sites Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material placement for various construction phases Collaborate with team members to coordinate the safe operation of multiple types of construction machinery Skills Extensive construction site experience with knowledge of different types of heavy machinery and their operation Proven ability to operate dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators (including Caterpillar models), and other construction equipment safely and efficiently Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on equipment Familiarity with construction tools such as hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere strictly to occupational safety standards Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in operating dump trucks and trucks pulling trailer that is hauling equipment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their careers in construction by mastering diverse machinery while contributing to impactful projects.
