Join Red Roof Nation - Idaho Grading & Trucking is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing commercial grading crew. We are seeking a dependable operator who takes pride in producing quality work, operates equipment safely, and understands how to work efficiently on commercial construction sites. Responsibilities Operate a variety of heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including: Skid Steer, Loader, Excavator, Roller/Compactor, Articulated or Rigid Haul Truck, Additional equipment experience is a plus. Perform site grading, excavation, and earthwork on commercial construction projects. Work from grade stakes, GPS machine control, laser levels, and project plans. Fine grade building pads, parking lots, roadways, and other site improvements. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with foremen and crew members to keep projects on schedule. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Qualifications 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience in commercial construction. Experience with commercial site development and earthwork required. Ability to work accurately to grade and maintain elevations. Knowledge of construction site safety and jobsite awareness. Experience reading grade stakes, blueprints, or GPS machine control is preferred. Strong work ethic with reliable attendance. Ability to work overtime as needed. Valid driver's license required. $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
