The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in all operations. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, mechanical systems, and the ability to operate multiple types of heavy equipment with precision and safety. Candidates with a background in construction, mechanical knowledge, and commercial driving are encouraged to apply. All equipment operation must adhere to safety standards and project specifications. Construction activities in steep, mountainous terrain with height-related challenges and safety considerations. Responsibilities Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks. Safely maneuver and control machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and other brand models to complete construction tasks efficiently. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or debris as required. Perform daily routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on the construction site. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other construction equipment. Remote Construction experience. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for operating certain vehicles such as dump trucks or water trucks. Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Physical ability to perform manual tasks associated with heavy machinery operation including lifting and prolonged standing. This position offers an opportunity for experienced operators to contribute significantly to large-scale construction projects while maintaining a focus on safety and operational excellence. Must be able to travel for days at a time in remote areas. Must have a clean driving record Must be able to pass a background check.

$28.00 - $38.00 per hour
