Work Schedule:
This position requires working 3-5 days per week.
Job Description:
As an Crusher Loader Operator, reporting to the Plant Superintendent, your primary responsibility is to efficiently load material into the processing equipment as well as stockpile finished material. You play a crucial role in pit production and safety, minimizing downtime through proper inspection and operation. Your role directly impacts customer satisfaction by insuring a consistant feed material as well as properly segregating materials in stockpiles. Collaboration with the Plant Superintendent is key, as is taking ownership of your competence and proficiency in this role.
Essential Functions:
Efficient Plant Production:
Operate the loader to load material into plant safely and efficiently.
Plant Safety and Compliance:
Ensure plant safety and compliance with state and federal regulations, particularly MSHA standards, by maintaining roads, berms, and ramps.
Team Player & Self-Leadership:
Collaborate effectively with the Plant Superintendent and demonstrate self-leadership by taking ownership of your role and ensuring competence.
Loader Maintenance:
Take ownership of maintaining the loader in a safe and professional working order, conducting regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English. Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States. OSHA 10 Certification is a plus. Physical ability to bend, squat, twist, and move freely in the performance of the position. Good math, reading, writing, and organizational skills. Ability to climb in and out of equipment multiple times during the workday. Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
