POSITION
LOADER OPERATOR
We are looking for an experienced Loader Operator to join our excavation crew. This position will primarily operate wheel loaders on active excavation and construction sites. The ideal candidate is comfortable working around trucks, equipment, stockpiles, and active crews and understands how to operate efficiently while taking care of the equipment. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate wheel loaders Load dump trucks with dirt, gravel, rock, and other construction materials Maintain and manage material stockpiles Perform site cleanup and general material handling Work around excavators, dozers, trucks, and ground crews Understand grades and maintain work areas as directed Perform basic daily equipment checks Identify and report equipment maintenance or repair needs Keep equipment clean and in good working condition Follow jobsite safety requirements and company procedures Assist with other equipment or jobsite duties as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous wheel loader experience preferred Excavation, earthwork, aggregate, or site-development experience is a plus Ability to efficiently load trucks without damaging equipment Good awareness when working around ground personnel and other equipment Ability to judge loads and materials Ability to follow directions and communicate with supervisors and truck drivers Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license CDL and additional equipment experience are a plus Experience operating excavators, dozers, scrapers, or other heavy equipment is also a plus.
Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
