Operates a variety of motor vehicles and heavy equipment (e.g. paver, loader, skid steer loader, vactor, snow plow, wing plow, semi-tractor/trailer, tractor, sweeper, and backhoe) for performing maintenance and construction of roads and sewer lines Cleans roads of debris Repairs shoulders and right-of-ways Fills in cracks and potholes to avoid safety hazards on roadways Operates equipment for snow removal on roads Performs basic maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment Acts as a lead worker and assists co-workers with their work assignments Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience: Completion of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma equivalent Three (3) years of experience operating heavy equipment A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an air brakes endorsement.
