Duties Operate asphalt rollers and other heavy equipment with precision to achieve optimal compaction and surface smoothness Assist with paving operations by preparing surfaces, setting up equipment, and ensuring proper material placement Support concrete-related tasks such as mixing, pouring, finishing, and pumping when required on-site Operate loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and other machinery to transport materials and prepare work zones Collaborate with team members on rebar installation, concrete forming, and site layout to ensure project specifications are met Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to guarantee safe operation and minimize downtime Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately to maintain a secure work environment Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as asphalt rollers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks Strong knowledge of paving techniques, concrete mixing, finishing, and pumping processes Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues quickly and effectively Familiarity with construction site procedures including rebar installation, concrete forming, and site layout Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial vehicle operation preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques and supporting project goals Join us in building lasting infrastructure!
