Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Excavate and grade footings, building pads, parking lots and other surfaces related to commercial construction. Understand and meet production goals Understand compaction and moisture testing requirements Identify faults in equipment and take measures to fix them Experience in operating equipment such as: loader, dozer, scraper, motor grader, and excavator Experience with mass grading and foundation excavation Valid Driver's License Ability to read civil prints and control grading
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently Must be able to work outdoors and stand for majority of the day Must be able to perform tasks while walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling Additional responsibilities will be assigned based on experience and performance. We expect all field employees to: Comply to all safety rules and regulations Be on time to the job site Have a positive attitude Be a team player Have a strong work ethic Other considerations: All offers of employment are conditioned by successfully passing a background check, drug screen and physical capacity test Wages are based on experience and performance Must be able to work outside the normal operating hours (7am-4pm, winter/fall 7am-3:30pm, spring/summer) Employees are responsible for transportation to and from the job site
