This role involves operating various types of heavy equipment while ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards. Supervision/Direction Reports to the Foreman who provides oversight and general direction. Works closely with crew members and other operators on the jobsite. Functions Operate heavy equipment including, but not limited to: dozers, excavators, motor graders, articulated scrapers, off-road articulated trucks, utility tractors, wheel loaders, water trucks, skid steers, and rollers. Excavate around structures, utilities, and other obstacles in a safe and efficient manner. Read and interpret elevations to properly cut, place, and compact earthwork. Perform daily pre- and post-equipment inspections and complete required documentation. Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times. Assist with general site duties as needed. Requirements Candidates must have knowledge of heavy equipment operation and construction site safety, along with the ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team. This position requires flexibility to work overtime as needed.
