What You'll Be Doing Operate heavy equipment to move dirt, rock, materials, and equipment Spread, smooth, and level materials on roadbeds and job sites Read grade and adjust machine settings as needed Perform daily pre-shift inspections for safety and mechanical issues Coordinate with crew members using hand and audio signals Inspect, clean, maintain, and assist with minor equipment repairs Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed Work outdoors in all seasons and changing weather conditions Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisors What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in the civil construction industry 2+ years of verifiable equipment operating experience Valid driver's license Willingness to travel to multiple job sites Able to pass pre-employment screening (drug screen and background check) Strong work ethic and team-first mindset Takes safety seriously and communicates well with others Reliable and able to work in fast-paced environments What You'll Get Full-time, steady work PTO, health, and dental insurance 401(k) with company match Additional perks and employee benefits Opportunities for training, skill development, and career growth Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Rayville, LA 71269 Full-time Gregory Construction 15 reviews Full-time Who You'll Be Working For At Gregory Construction, we're a team that takes pride in doing things the right way.
