Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as an Equipment Operator, where you'll building vital site work and utility infrastructure. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on experience will drive our success on diverse construction sites, from residential to commercial projects. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments and are eager to contribute to impactful projects. Duties Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery to perform site preparation, grading, excavation, utility installation and material handling. Manage/load various 6 wheeler and 10 wheeler dump trucks, for transporting materials across construction sites. Handle specialized machinery like rollers, tractor and pan, and farm equipment as needed for specific project requirements. Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Follow project plans and safety protocols to execute tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Assist with site setup and cleanup activities, including moving materials and debris using appropriate machinery. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and ensure smooth workflow throughout each phase of construction. Skills Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other heavy equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance. A Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles like dump trucks and tractor trailer is a plus. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety procedures and site logistics. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret project plans accurately a plus.
