Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and become a vital part of building infrastructure that makes a difference! In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision at every stage. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on experience will help bring complex projects to life while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Duties Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform excavation, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks Manage various trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials safely across the site Support concrete work by operating mixers and related equipment to ensure timely delivery and placement of concrete Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and backfilling activities as needed for different phases of construction projects Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational logs Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and related machinery Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and site protocols Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy trucks including tanker, dump truck, water truck or roll-off truck Ability to operate specialized machinery like concrete mixers or farm machinery when required Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods Join us in building the future!
