Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our paving team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders and other construction machinery to assist with various site activities, including excavation, grading, material handling, and utility work. Your expertise will ensure that projects progress smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities Operate skid steer loaders and other heavy machinery such as excavators to perform excavation, grading, loading, and site preparation tasks Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety procedures Assist with paving work including raking, shoveling and tamping Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment Support paving grading efforts to ensure accurate site leveling and surface preparation Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects involving paving Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections Skills Proven experience operating skid steer loaders and heavy construction machinery such as excavators and loaders Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and federal safety standards governing heavy equipment operation Ability to perform paving and excavation tasks accurately Knowledge of construction grading techniques and site preparation processes Understanding of equipment safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members on large projects involving paving Join us in building the future! Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
