Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in building infrastructure, commercial projects, and large-scale developments. In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of construction machinery with precision and safety, ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into reality while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, and farm machinery to move materials and prepare sites for construction. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment, adhering to safety procedures at all times. Follow all occupational safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently during operations. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and site cleanup activities. Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute tasks accurately according to project plans and timelines. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy machinery operation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving preferred. (Optional) Hands-on experience operating construction machinery such as dozer, loaders, excavator's, dump trucks, and water trucks. Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of construction equipment. Familiarity with hydraulics systems and the use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments. Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and occupational health standards. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments while maintaining safety protocols. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members on-site.
