We are in search of a friendly and dependable worker to fulfill the Cashier Customer Service position for the afternoon shift (2:45 PM-10:45 PM - three shifts a week), to become an essential part of our amazing team! We are a small business, BP gas station located in Dundee, MI, right off M-50 and 23. You will be responsible for selling products and providing services in a retail setting in order to drive store revenue. Cashier Responsibilities also include but are not limited to: Welcoming and provide assistance to customers in a friendly manner Building and maintain long-lasting customer relationships Resolving customer complaints with care and diligence Oversee store cleanliness and organization Efficiently operate register and lottery systems Check identification and prohibit sales to minors for alcohol and tobacco products Carry out various closing procedures in a timely manner

Cashier Expectations and Qualifications:

Must have a reliable source of transportation Ability to perform basic mathematics in order to properly handle drawers Sufficient verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to stand for extended lengths of time Meeting and exceeding customer expectations on every visit Maintaining a clean, safe environment to ensure the store is presentable Preparation of our customer favorites...coffee!! Ensuring proper preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products Cash handling, fuel transactions Ability to follow proper health code guidelines The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
