▶ Apply Heavy Equipment Operator - Per Diem Offered Falmouth, Michigan - Posted on August 27, 2026 Published By Francheska Gonzalez Trillium Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator near Falmouth, MI who has hands-on experience with multiple types of equipment, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, graders, water trucks, cranes, and dump trucks.
- Perform site work including digging, grading, trenching, hauling, and material placement as directed by supervisors.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections (pre- and post-use) to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Assist with general site preparation, cleanup, and other duties as needed to support project operations.
Pay:
Up to $32Per Diem:
$178 / day for all 7 daysSchedule:
Mon - Sat, 60h / week Apply now! Qualifications- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial environment.
- Proficiency with equipment such as backhoes, dozers, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks.
- Strong understanding of equipment safety practices and job site hazards.
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Experience with Caterpillar (CAT) and John Deere equipment is preferred.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
