Job Description

Calo Companies is searching for a Front Loader Operator to join our team. This is a full-time position with benefits and year-round work.
Responsibilities include:
Safely operate small front loader, forklift, or other equipment to move and load soil, rock and other landscape materials Load materials in designated areas as well as into customer trucks and trailers Perform daily machine inspection before and after use, routine greasing, oiling, and fueling Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and record-keeping Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions & report to the maintenance department Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience operating front-end loader, and forklift A team and safety-oriented mentality Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times Ability to lift up to 50lbs Knowledge of landscape materials Good verbal communication skills Capable of working independently when needed Able to promote a positive and safe work environment in a physically demanding work environment Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Work in an outdoor environment Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit Must remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles operated in work area Ability to frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb, and crawl Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Premium paid 100% by employer for the employee Short-Term disability 401(k) with 3% company match Paid Time Off (PTO)
