Azcon Metals is seeking a qualified Mobile Magnet Truck Operator (CDL Class B) to join our team. The job description for a Mobile Magnet Truck Operator typically includes the following responsibilities and qualifications: Operating a Kenworth truck equipped with a Serco loader for sorting, loading, and hauling scrap material. Sort and load various commodities of recyclable material at off-site locations for transport. Traveling to outside locations within Minnesota and Wisconsin to sort and load scrap material onto trailers for transport. Performing routine inspections before, during, and after operation to ensure proper equipment function. Operating a Knuckle Boom type loader is preferred, as well as the ability to lift and move heavy materials. Load and haul material in the box of the Kenworth for transport to Azcon at the end of your shift. Performing operator-level maintenance on equipment and assisting on-site maintenance personnel with necessary repairs. Adhering to safety standards and protocols in the work environment. Working day shifts Monday thru Friday, with hours from 7:00-3:30 potentially varying based on travel time and company needs. Possessing a valid CDL B license with a DOT physical, no DUI or drug convictions, and the ability to lift heavy materials. Passing a pre-employment physical and successfully completing an MSHA certification course. The job requires physical stamina, including lifting, bending and climbing.
