We are currently seeking a full-time Yard Operator at our Glenwood location. This position plays a key role in keeping the transfer station running safely and efficiently, while also supporting overall yard and landfill operations. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working outdoors and staying active throughout the day; has experience operating equipment, takes pride in keeping work areas clean, safe and organized; can work independently while also being a reliable team player; and is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable assisting customers. What You'll Do Operate equipment to manage transfer station activities Inspect, screen, and process incoming loads; separate MSW and recyclables Assist and direct customers dropping off items Maintain a clean, organized, and safe transfer station Support yard and landfill upkeep, including mowing, trimming, and debris pickup Grease and maintain equipment; perform basic repairs Complete additional tasks as assigned What We're Looking For Ability to operate equipment (loader, skid steer, etc.) Safety-focused mindset Strong customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized Effective verbal and written communication Schedule & Benefits Monday-Friday / No weekends Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Health, Dental and Vision insurance Life and Long-term disability insurance 401(k) plan with employer match Uniforms/Apparel provided Paid hourly, time-and-a-half over 40 hours (if applicable Positive, safe, team-oriented work environment Why Join TKI?
