Skid Steer / Loader / Tractor Operator - Snow Removal Peter Doran Lawn & Landscaping - Twin Cities Metro Area Peter Doran Lawn & Landscaping is looking for reliable and experienced Skid Steer, Loader, and Tractor Operators to join our winter snow removal team. We service snow removal routes throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area , so operators must be willing to travel to their assigned location and work wherever they are needed.
IMPORTANT SEASON COMMITMENT
Applicants must be willing and able to commit to working snow events from November 1st through April 1st. Snow events can occur during the day, overnight, on weekends, and holidays. Snow removal requires people who are willing to respond when needed and stay until the assigned work is completed. If you cannot commit to the full November 1st-April 1st snow season, please do not apply. Job Responsibilities Operate skid steers, front-end loaders, tractors, and other snow removal equipment Load, push, move, and remove snow from assigned properties Clear parking lots, drive lanes, sidewalks, and other designated areas Operate equipment safely and efficiently in winter conditions Travel to assigned properties throughout the Twin Cities metro area Follow assigned routes and instructions Work independently while maintaining communication with management Inspect equipment and report maintenance or mechanical issues Complete assigned properties thoroughly and efficiently Assist with additional snow removal duties as needed What We Are Looking For Reliable and dependable attendance is a must Previous skid steer, loader, tractor, or snow removal experience preferred Experience operating equipment in winter conditions is a plus Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles Safe and responsible equipment operation Ability to work independently Ability to travel throughout the Twin Cities metro area Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during snow events Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and changing weather conditions Good communication and attention to detail Must be able to commit to the full November 1st-April 1st snow season Competitive Pay + Snow Event Incentive. Our snow removal operators are compensated through a combination of hourly pay and commission-based pay per property We also offer a Snow Event Incentive Pay structure designed to reward employees who stay committed and work through longer snow events. During extended snow events, after approximately 13-20 hours of work, the hourly compensation increases to $45 per hour. In addition to the hourly compensation, operators can earn commission based on the properties they complete . The more efficiently you complete your assigned properties, the greater your earning potential. We reward the people who show up, work hard, stay through the event, and get the job done. If you are scheduled for a snow event, we expect you to show up and complete your assigned route.
