Experience with Caterpillar, ideal. This person will be responsible for operating skid steers and other heavy equipment to support various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery operation, safety protocols, and construction site procedures. Prior experience a must. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient project completion while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities Operate skid steers and other heavy machinery including loaders, backhoes, and dump trucks as needed. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Support additional construction activities such as horizontal drilling, paving, tanker operations, or other specialized tasks based on project needs. Skills Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Proven experience operating skid steers along with excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred for operating certain types of equipment or vehicles on-site. Experience with Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is advantageous.
