As a Tow Operator, you'll play an important role in helping drivers when they need it most. You'll operate primarily flatbed tow trucks, safely recover and transport vehicles, and provide friendly, professional service to customers throughout the process. Responsibilities Safely operate light-duty tow trucks, primarily flatbeds, as well as other light-duty recovery vehicles. Respond to roadside assistance and vehicle recovery calls in a timely and professional manner. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using proper straps, chains, and other recovery equipment. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with customers throughout each service call. Handle stressful or difficult situations calmly, professionally, and respectfully. Complete accurate logs documenting towing activities, vehicle conditions, and operational details. Perform routine inspections of tow trucks, recovery equipment, and safety equipment. Identify and report equipment issues to help maintain safe and reliable operations. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum age of 23 years old due to company insurance requirements. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Commercial driving experience is strongly preferred. Previous towing, roadside assistance, or heavy-equipment experience is a plus. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive terminology preferred. Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with stressful or challenging situations. Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
