Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator/Utility to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various heavy equipment machinery and possess a strong understanding of quarry and mining operations. Pay is dependent on experience and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain equipment such as excavators, loaders, haul trucks, water trucks, dozers, etc. Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines. Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed. Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on time. Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with proficiency Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment efficiently and safely. Demonstrable ability to perform manual labor in different environments as needed (such as: shoveling, lifting, moving materials) Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended hours. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to climb in and out / up and down equipment several times a day. Must be able to sit, stand and operate for several hours a day. Must be able to use repetitive motions multiple times a day. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
