Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator/Painter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate would also have painting experience. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of custom fabrications that meet strict industry standards. Pay is based on experience and 1-2 years of experience in the sign industry is preferred. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal components Perform MIG, Stick Welding with welding techniques to join various metals including sheet metal and pipe materials Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts Measure dimensions precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure adherence to specifications Operate forklifts safely for material handling on manufacturing floors Fabricate structural steel and aluminum products according to ASME codes & standards while maintaining quality control through visual inspections and measurements Follow safety protocols diligently during all welding and fabrication activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist in welding, machining, soldering, and assembly processes as needed for complex projects Skills Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment Knowledge of ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication practices Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, machining operations, rigging, soldering, and assembly processes Experience working with sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installation in manufacturing or construction environments Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and project estimations Familiarity with forklift operation for material handling on job sites or within manufacturing facilities Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in quality control inspections Operate spray equipment, perform exact color matching, and ensure our high-quality products—from channel letters to architectural monuments—meet precise client specifications Join our team today if you're passionate about craftsmanship in welding and fabrication!
