Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with proficiency in operating a variety of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, large track hoes, and other machinery used in construction and earth-moving projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery to complete construction and earth-moving projects Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Perform rough and finish grading to specifications
- Excavate, move, and grade earth, as well as dig trenches and foundations
- Safely load and unload materials and debris
- Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on equipment
- Follow site safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew to complete projects on time
- Maintain accurate records of work performed Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of construction and earth-moving techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification for heavy equipment operation is preferred Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working on-site
