Equipment Operator Fountain Services, LLC (https://fountainelectric.com/) is seeking qualified and experienced equipment operators who have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Fountain is an established industry leader in the electrical trade with offices in Spindale, Charlotte, Hickory, and Asheville, in North Carolina, and in Greenville, South Carolina. We serve customers and projects spread across the western, piedmont, and Metrolina regions of North Carolina, and the upstate of South Carolina. Equipment Operators work in teams as a part of our construction services division based in our Spindale, NC headquarters office. This division provides support to commercial/residential construction projects across our entire service area. Operators are expected to operate equipment associated with the installation of underground electrical service and duct bank, and also perform other tasks associated with construction such as grading, debris removal, and general construction tasks. Minimum Experience Required Candidates should have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the operation of equipment such as excavators, mini-excavators, skid-steers, trenchers, and tamps in a construction setting. The candidate should also have a CDL with experience pulling trailers and hauling equipment. Expectations and Skills Safe and proficient equipment operation Construction experience Care and maintenance of tools and equipment Following direction and attention to detail Planning and organization Ability to read, understand, and follow construction documents Additional Requirements High School diploma or GED Mandatory drug screen Satisfactory performance on a company-administered skills assessment Valid driver's license- CDL Preferred Relevant trainings and certifications preferred Portfolio We deliver some of the highest-value and most complex electrical projects in the region.
