Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Duties Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, cranes, and concrete mixers. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Safely transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks. Collaborate with construction teams to execute tasks efficiently and effectively. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites as needed. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in a construction site environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs on equipment. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus. Experience operating various heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment, farm machinery, tankers, and other related vehicles. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
