In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating a wide range of construction machinery and heavy equipment to support various building projects. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, contributing directly to the successful completion of infrastructure and development initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and precision. Duties Operate construction machinery including excavators, motor grader, bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, and tractor and implements with skill and safety awareness. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment such as concrete mixers, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations. Use hand tools and construction machinery maintenance techniques to troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs as needed. Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and safety regulations during all operations. Assist in site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, and site clearing using appropriate heavy machinery. Requirements Proven experience operating construction site machinery of one to two years. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, water trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, engine systems, and general construction machinery maintenance. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and occupational safety regulation compliance. Ability to perform routine inspections and basic repairs on various types of construction equipment. Construction site experience with familiarity in material handling equipment operation is highly desirable.
