Scraper Operator needed Alliance Construction LLC is looking for experienced scraper operator for a job in Fargo, ND . This is a temporary job lasting 2-6 weeks. $47.40 an hour plus overtime over 40 hours a day! A scraper operator uses heavy machinery to move, dig, and level large amounts of earth. They build roadbeds, clear sites, and prepare land for construction. These operators manage the heavy lifting of dirt. They ensure the ground is ready for buildings or paved roads. Core ResponsibilitiesOperate Heavy Machinery:
Safely maneuver twin-engine or single-engine scrapers (to load, haul, and dump dirt) and dozers (to push and level bulk earth).Machine Maintenance:
Perform daily "walk-around" safety checks. This includes greasing parts, checking fluid levels, and connecting hydraulic hoses.Site Preparation:
Cut, fill, and grade terrain to exact elevations.Read Grade Stakes:
Read and interpret construction stakes or electronic GPS monitors to know exactly how much dirt to add or removeSafety Protocols:
Follow all safety rules to avoid hazards like underground utility lines and other equipment. Schedule 12 hour shift (6 am to 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am shift) 6 days on, 1 day off (Sunday) Job RequirementsEducation & Licensing:
High school diploma or GED. A valid Driver's License (or Commercial Driver's License).Physical Strength:
Ability to endure all weather conditions, constant bumps/jolts from the machinery, and demanding physical labor.Coordination:
