Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Parlin, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the movement of soil and other objects, primarily operating heavy equipment such as excavators and dozers. Responsibilities Operate excavator and dozer efficiently. Utilize both CAT and DEERE controls on the excavator. Assist crew members on the ground as needed. Load and unload heavy equipment on trailers. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating excavators and dozers. Experience in construction and heavy equipment operation. CDL Class A certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications 40-hour Hazwoper certification with current 8-hour refresher. Experience with skid steers, backhoes, and other heavy equipment is a plus. Why Work Here? Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
