Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Structural Welder to join our construction team. This is a dual-role position that combines structural steel welding with heavy civil construction work. Welding duties will be performed as project needs require and will not make up the majority of the workweek . When welding is not needed, the successful candidate will assist with earthmoving operations, excavation, grading, site preparation, and general construction labor. Applicants should be comfortable performing both skilled welding and physically demanding construction work. Responsibilities Perform certified structural welding on steel components according to project specifications. Read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols. Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and other earthmoving operations. Perform general construction labor, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling. Work alongside heavy equipment operators and assist with construction activities as needed. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications Current structural welding certification required (AWS certification preferred). Qualifications Current welding certification required. Experience with structural steel welding using SMAW (Stick), FCAW, or MIG processes. Previous construction and earthmoving experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and welding specifications. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
What We Offer Competitive pay:
$35.00-$50.00 per hour , based on experience. Full-time, year-round employment (40 hours per week). Overtime opportunities when available. Health insurance after 90 days Schedule Monday-Friday 40 hours per week Overtime as needed
