We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, efficiency and reliability. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and equipment operator to join our team. Position Overview Tremson is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience in forestry and land clearing operations. This position will involve running a variety of machines in active clearing environments and working as part of a production-focused crew. Relevant Equipment Excavators (grapples, clearing, stump removal) Skidders Wheel loaders Forestry mulchers Fellerbunchers Grinders Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in land clearing environments Perform tree removal, processing, and material handling Assist with stump removal, site prep, and cleanup operations Work closely with foreman and crew to maintain production pace Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Maintain clean and organized work areas on job sites Qualifications Minimum experience of 5 years in heavy equipment operation Experience operating heavy equipment in forestry, land clearing, or similar work Strong understanding of job site safety and equipment operation Ability to work in changing site conditions (woods, mud, uneven terrain) Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team Mechanical awareness and ability to execute basic maintenance on machine Preferred (Not Required) Class A CDL Experience with forestry-specific equipment (feller buncher, skidder, excavator, loaders) Prior experience in land clearing or logging operations General knowledge of tree felling What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent, year-round work Strong team environment in a growing company Opportunity for advancement as Tremson continues to expand
