Yard Utility Operator As a Yard Utility Operator, you will provide general assistance wherever needed in the production area while ensuring the safety of yourself and those around you. This role involves operating various types of equipment and maintaining the cleanliness, efficiency and safety of the yard.Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation:
Use numerous types of equipment to move salvaged vehicles throughout the yard.Parts Removal:
Will assist our parts pulling operation and remove numerous types of automotive parts from salvage vehicles within the yard.Welding:
Weld different types of stands & shelving units as needed.Facility Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness through sweeping designated areas, emptying and sorting core bins, processing metals, packaging and weighing core batteries, and removing Freon from scrap refrigeration units.Forklift Operation:
Operate a forklift and other salvage yard equipment.Customer Requests:
Respond to various types of customer requests efficiently.What We Offer:

Experience:
Experience with forklift and small equipment operation, heavy equipment operating, general maintenance, and understanding of mechanical equipment.Working Conditions:
Must be comfortable working outside, in all weather conditions.Skills:
