The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment functions and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to meet project goals. Duties Operate heavy equipment including trackhoes, skidsteers, dozers, backhoes, and loaders on construction sites or agricultural settings. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Dig trenches, move materials, and assist in the construction of various structures as required. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to minimize risks on the job site. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions promptly. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, and loaders. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is preferred. Ability to operate farm machinery is a plus. Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must possess a valid driver's license; additional certifications for specific machinery operation may be required. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with heavy equipment operation.
