Join our team today! Kodiak Pacific Construction in Sherwood is now accepting applications for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator. We are closely monitoring the news as the situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19) progresses. That being said, part of our application process does require you to be present. NOTHING is more important to us than the safety of our applicants, staff and clients. As a result, we are taking all precautions to create a safe work environment for our staff. Applicants should meet the following requirements: Must have a valid commercial driver's license, and acceptable driving record. Minimum five years' experience. Equipment experience should include excavator, dozer, grader, front-end loader, and compactor. CDL desired, but not a requirement. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbally and written). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and dependability a MUST!
Duties, Responsibilities and Physical Demands:
Maintain accurate logs i.e. log books, mileage logs, fuel logs. Must be flexible to work weekends, long hours as needed, and overtime when necessary. Maintain clean and tidy equipment. Operate equipment and transport heavy equipment in accordance to DOT safety regulations.
